New Seymour High School boys basketball coach Kyle Clough is all about energy and enthusiasm, and he has brought that out in local youth with the first Little Owls Youth Boys Basketball Outdoor League.
Games have been played in the parking lot at Seymour Middle School on two recent Thursday nights, and there will be at least one more session.
?It is something we started back in Michigan at the school I used to be at, and it?s kind of a different atmosphere and a little bit of a unique situation,? Clough said. ?It gets the kids outside and back to old-school basketball. It also gives the parents a chance to sit courtside and bring some lawn chairs out. It is something to spark the interest that allows them to have a little bit of fun out in the sun.?
